National Holiday on 15 March

On  15 March visiting the Hungarian National Gallery is free of charge for everyone.

Entry is between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, on a first come: this day there are exceptions.

Estimated time of last entry: 4 pm

Please note, that due to the high interest there might be long queue (1-2 hours to wait) in front of the entrance.
Entry to the museum or some of the exhibition halls might be paused due to security reasons.
Please note that this day we cannot provide guided tours or audio guide service.

Closing of the exhibition halls starts at 5:30 pm from the top floor. The building is closed at 6 pm.
