PORTABLE FOLDING STOOLS
Folding stools are available free of charge to provide more comfort for visitors while enjoying our exhibitions. After the visit, please, place your stool to a stand for folding stools.
Folding stools can be used only in the halls of the permanent exhibition.
WHEELCHAIRS
Wheelchairs in limited amount are available for our visitors free of charge. Please, ask the assistance of the museum guards at the lobby.
STROLLERS
Strollers can be borrowed free of charge for our youngest visitors in limited amount. Please, ask the assistance of our colleagues at the information desk.
The maximum capacity of the strollers is 15 kg. They are available in limited amount.
FAMILY AMENITIES
We provide the following services to make visitors’ stay with babies and kids comfortable at our museum:
Family room: a renewed family room is available on the first floor. There is a comfortable rocking chair for breastfeeding, place for changing diapers also some children toys to provide a private place of comfort for babies and their parents.
Changing table facilities: in the Family room on the first floor and in the following restrooms:
– in women’s restroom of the Café on the ground floor
– in women’s restroom by the Munkácsy halls on the first floor which is also equipped with toilet seats for children.
CHARGE POINT
The lockable mobile phone charging cabinet in the family lounge on the first floor is ideal for our visitors who would like to charge their mobile phones while visiting our exhibitions.
CAFÉ
Visitors of the Hungarian National Gallery and tourists are all welcome in our cosy café on the ground floor of Building C, located at the main entrance. We serve hot and cold beverages, cakes, pastries and a range of sandwiches.
The café is open during the opening hours of the Gallery, from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
