The glory of the Habsburg dynasty

For groups
Duration: 60 minutes

Let us introduce you to the countless secret wonders of the building of the Hungarian National Gallery, the former Royal Palace of Buda, and its amazing collection. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to see, among other things, the Habsburg Palatine Crypt and the beautiful view from the dome.

The family crypt in Buda Castle holding the earthly remains of Archduke Joseph, Palatine of Hungary, his family members and descendants, is the only part of the Hungarian National Gallery that still preserves something of the palace’s original, 19th-century beauty.
