The pediment relief above the northern portal of the church of Vurpód (today Vurpǎr, Romania, built in 1230) depicts a tree of life with a lion and a half fish, half lion creature on each side.
By order of István Möller the cast was made by Pál Weszely in 1912, and it was built into the wall of the Romanesque Hall. In 1985 it was transferred to the Hungarian National Gallery.
