The multi-generation programs of the Hungarian National Gallery have something in store for everyone in the family: the little and the big, the young and the old.
The multi-generation programs of the Hungarian National Gallery have something in store for everyone in the family: the little and the big, the young and the old. (Please note, that all programs below are conducted exclusively in Hungarian.)
“Mama nézd!” is a special guided tour for new mothers with babies, offering a pleasant atmosphere for the museum visit.
“Szemezgető” provides families with an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with a single work of art during the session.
While on their spring or autumn school breaks, children are welcome to participate in “Múzeumi Szünetelő”, our playful guided tour of the temporary exhibition.
Older children might be interested in the wide array of activities offered by “Palotaműhely”. These creative programs, studded with music, may prove a pleasant, relaxing mode of recreation not only for families, but all interested visitors.
For visitors with special needs
Program components that comprise part of the larger scale special/evening programs of the Hungarian National Gallery are based on our experiences with hearing and visually impaired museum-goers, as well as physically and mentally disabled visitors.
