In 2020, the monthly Museum+ Thursday evenings will be held alternately in the Museum of Fine Arts and in the National Gallery again.

The revamped and restructured Museum+ series is both different and the same. The events continue to be built around a specific theme, and similarly to the previous years, visitors can enjoy late opening hours, MuseumCafé Live talks, inspiring lectures and guided tours, workshops and music throughout the evening. In 2020, the Museum+ evenings will be focusing on the greatest masters: Munkácsy, Raphael, Monet, Titian, Bronzino, Csontváry, El Greco and Rippl-Rónai – artists with extraordinary lives and oeuvres. Their works will certainly delight visitors, who can now discover their masterpieces in the permanent exhibition from a fresh perspective, and on top of that, enjoy the events, which guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

The events can be visited with a valid museum admission ticket or with a Museum+ ticket. Discounts for daytime tickets are also applicable to tickets for the evening event.

Visitors to our February event will have the opportunity to view the permanent collection. Our temporary chamber exhibition Forsaken World. The Art of István Farkas (1887-1944) can be visited by purchasing this type of ticket, or by buying a supplementary ticket for 200 HUF at the museum.

During the Museum+ evening tickets for the event can also be bought in the museum’s ticket offices.
