The Royal Palace was severely damaged during World War II and was later rebuilt as a museum. For this reason you cannot find royal enteriors anymore between the walls of the Buda Castle. Entering the castle district by car or taxi is only possible in exceptional cases, through the Secretariat of the Deputy General Director (info@mng.hu), by registrating with the license plate number, specifying the purpose and expected time of arrival. Permission to enter the Hunyadi Courtyard for our entrance “A” and “B” (where waiting is permitted for a limited time) can be required from Várkapitányság Nonprofit Zrt.
