Wine Wednesdays | CSONTVÁRY – GULÁCSY
18:00 - 22:00:00
If it’s Wednesday, it’s Wine Wednesday!
One of the most popular series of programs of the Hungarian National Gallery awaits visitors interested in fine arts and wine this year as well. The event once again offers a colourful program in July: special exhibitions, live music and a wine tasting await art lovers on Wednesday evenings. The theme of this year’s Wine Wednesdays is organised around our greatest artists: Csontváry and Gulácsy, Szinyei and Ferenczy, Munkácsy and Mednyánszky, and Courbet, Monet and Renoir are the focus of the programs.
This summer, the audience of Wine Wednesdays can see several special exhibitions: on the evenings of July, they can visit the Art Deco Budapest. Posters, Lifestyle and the City (1925–1938), Dancing 1925 – Hungarian Artists in Parisian Nightlife and Towards the Ideal. Belgian Symbolist Sculpture in the Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts.
Don’t miss Wine Wednesday this year either, and enjoy the wonderful panorama from the terrace of the National Gallery in the company of a couple of fine glasses of wine!
