Wine Wednesdays // Playful

Vasarely Museum
August 7, 2019

18:00 - 22:00:00

Continuing the tradition, we will add some sparkle to the various events at the Hungarian National Gallery and Vasarely Museum with our Wine Wednesdays during the summer of 2019. We hope to see you on four Wednesdays in July and two in August at our exciting guided tours and interesting lectures with a different theme each time. We also invite you to listen to some pleasant live music and of course – as the title of the event shows – sample some delightful wine. The events will be held from 6 pm to 10 pm in the beautiful dome hall and on the fascinating panorama terraces of the Hungarian National Gallery and in the Vasarely Museum’s garden shaded by trees. The wine selections will come from a different winery each Wednesday. This evening  our new temporary exhibition Moon Museum 1969 – Art and Space is on view.

Join us this year too to spend a nice evening together in the company of great masterpieces and excellent wines.

ART BONBON | 7-9 pm Classical and contemporary reflections – music, dance, theatre, poetry and improvisation in the permanent exhibitions
Strange things happen in a gallery at night. Have you ever felt that an enticing melody, a poem, or a movement would be a perfect match for a work of art as it would convey the sensation and the magic you experience when looking at it? This evening interesting melodies, well-known poems, and movements will accompany the artworks in the museum’s galleries, infusing them with new colour and life.
